Eight services in three groups

Most clients start with one service and add others as they go. Build is project work we deliver for you, Team is engineers who join your product, and Advise is independent advice.

Not sure how to engage? Compare project, dedicated team and advisory retainer.

Digital transformation

Twire helps companies replace manual processes, paper forms and spreadsheets with connected digital systems. We map how the work is done today, agree with you what to change first, then design, build and roll out the new tools in steps your team can absorb.

Who it is for

Growing companies held back by manual work, disconnected tools or knowledge that sits with a few people, and leadership teams that know they need to go digital but not where to start.

Discuss a transformation project

Typical projects

  • Order handling off spreadsheets

A web platform that takes orders, tracks their status and feeds invoicing, in place of shared spreadsheets and email threads.

  • Customer self service portal

Customers log in to see orders, documents and invoices and to raise requests, instead of calling or emailing your staff.

  • Paper forms made digital

Inspections, reports and approvals filled in on a phone or tablet and stored in one searchable place.

  • Reporting from one source

Dashboards built on the data in your existing systems, so nobody compiles numbers by hand each month.

What is included

  • Process mapping and a review of current systems
  • A prioritised transformation roadmap
  • Design and build of the new tools
  • Data migration from spreadsheets and old systems
  • Training and rollout support for your staff
  • Support and improvements after launch

How engagements work

We start with a short discovery that maps your processes and ends in a written plan. Delivery then runs in small releases, so each step is in daily use before the next one starts.

AI solutions and agents

Twire builds AI assistants, agents and document processing that work on your own data and inside your own systems, and sets up AI driven development for engineering teams. Every solution is designed to be GDPR safe, with our IAPP certified privacy consultants involved from the start.

Who it is for

Companies that want AI on real work rather than in a demo: teams buried in documents and email, support and sales teams that answer the same questions every day, product companies adding AI features, and engineering teams that want AI coding tools under control.

Discuss an AI project

Typical projects

  • An assistant on your own documents

A chatbot or internal assistant that answers from your knowledge base, manuals and policies, and shows the source of each answer.

  • AI agents that take action

Agents that update the CRM, create tickets, draft email replies or look up orders in the ERP, with a person approving where it matters.

  • Documents and email into data

Invoices, contracts, forms and incoming email read, sorted and turned into structured data your systems can use.

  • AI features in your product

Search, summaries, recommendations or an assistant built into your own app or SaaS product.

  • AI driven development, configured

AI coding assistants and agents set up for your engineering team, with prompts, guardrails, CI review bots and agreed workflows.

  • A proof of concept on your data

A working prototype on one real process within a few weeks, so you can judge the value before you invest more.

What is included

  • Use case selection and a feasibility check
  • Retrieval over your own documents and data
  • Agents connected to CRM, ERP, ticketing and email
  • Data kept in the EU where required
  • Providers and settings that do not train on your data
  • DPIA support from IAPP certified consultants
  • Human review where decisions matter
  • Evaluation, monitoring and usage cost tracking

How engagements work

Most AI work starts with a proof of concept on one real process. If it proves its value, we take it to production with access control, monitoring and human review in place, and our privacy consultants check the data flows and support the impact assessment before anything goes live.

Bespoke software development

Twire designs and builds web platforms, mobile apps, customer portals and internal tools around how your business works. One team covers development, testing, hosting and support, and the code is yours.

Who it is for

Companies whose needs are not met by off the shelf software, founders building a new product or MVP, and teams replacing an internal system that has outgrown its first version.

Discuss a software project

Typical projects

  • Web platforms and SaaS products

Booking, ordering and customer platforms built in React, TypeScript, Node.js and Go.

  • Mobile apps in React Native

One codebase for iOS and Android, or native apps where the product needs them.

  • Internal tools

Admin panels, planning tools and back office systems that replace workarounds your staff live with today.

  • A first version of a new product

An MVP you can put in front of real users, built so it can grow instead of being thrown away.

What is included

  • Requirements and user flows worked out with you
  • Interface design
  • Web development in React, TypeScript, Node.js and Go
  • Mobile apps in React Native, iOS and Android
  • QA and automated testing
  • Hosting, CI/CD, support and maintenance

How engagements work

A build starts with a scoping workshop and a written estimate. Work runs in short sprints with a demo at the end of each, and after launch we maintain the product or hand it over to your team.

Automation and integration

Twire connects the systems you already use and automates the repetitive work between them. We build integrations and APIs between ERP, CRM, e-commerce and finance tools, automate approval and invoice workflows, and build low code apps where a full custom build would be too much.

Who it is for

Teams that retype data from one system into another, chase approvals by email, or run important processes on manual steps only one person knows.

Discuss an automation project

Typical projects

  • ERP, CRM and e-commerce in sync

Orders from the web shop flow into the ERP, and customer records stay the same in every system.

  • Invoice and approval workflows

Invoices are captured, routed to the right person for approval and posted to accounting without retyping.

  • Low code internal apps

Simple apps for requests, checklists or stock counts, built on a low code platform your own staff can maintain.

  • APIs for partners and customers

An API that lets partners place orders or fetch data directly, instead of sending files by email.

What is included

  • A review of the process and the systems involved
  • Integration design and API development
  • Workflow automation
  • Low code apps where they fit
  • Monitoring and alerts for every integration
  • Documentation your team can work from

How engagements work

We start with one process, map it end to end and automate it, so you see the result before we take on the next. Integrations are monitored after launch, so a failed sync is noticed and fixed.

Cloud and legacy modernisation

Twire moves ageing systems to the cloud and modernises the software that holds a business back. We assess what you run today, decide with you what to move, rebuild or retire, and set up the pipelines and monitoring that keep it running.

Who it is for

Companies running business critical software on old servers or outdated frameworks, systems only one developer still understands, and teams facing rising hosting costs or repeated outages.

Discuss a cloud or legacy project

Typical projects

  • An on premises system moved to AWS

A system that runs on your own servers migrated to AWS, with backups, access control and monitoring set up properly.

  • A legacy application rebuilt in stages

An old desktop or web application replaced one part at a time while the business keeps using it.

  • Automated builds and deployments

CI/CD pipelines that test and release every change the same way, instead of manual deploys.

  • Operations you can rely on

Monitoring, logging, alerts and security updates for systems that need to stay up.

What is included

  • An assessment of current systems and risks
  • A migration plan with a rollback path
  • Cloud architecture and setup on AWS
  • CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Monitoring, logging and alerts
  • Ongoing operations and support

How engagements work

Every migration starts with an assessment and a written plan. We move in stages with a way back at each step, so the business keeps running during the change.

Dedicated engineering teams

Twire builds dedicated engineering teams in Colombo, Sri Lanka, that work inside your product. Every engineer is employed and vetted by Twire, and the team is run by a Swedish led company that has managed distributed delivery since 2018.

Who it is for

Product and SaaS companies that need more engineering capacity than they can hire locally, need to scale with their roadmap, or want a long term team without setting up an office abroad.

Discuss a dedicated team

Typical projects

  • A dedicated team inside a SaaS product

Developers and QA working on your roadmap, in your repositories, sprints and chat.

  • Extra capacity for your developers

One or more engineers who join your in house team and work to your tech lead.

  • A mobile app team

React Native or native iOS and Android engineers for a product that lives on phones.

  • QA and DevOps support

Testers and DevOps engineers who strengthen how an existing team tests and releases.

What is included

  • Engineers in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js and Go
  • Native iOS and Android development
  • QA and DevOps, including AWS and CI/CD
  • A named Swedish contact for the engagement
  • Work in your repositories and tools
  • A data processing agreement and SCCs in every contract

How engagements work

Choose a dedicated developer who works to your tech lead, or a managed team with its own Twire team lead. You interview the shortlist yourself, and every engagement starts with a pilot sprint so you see the team ship before you commit for longer.

IT strategy and consulting

Twire helps leadership teams make technology decisions that support the business plan. Strategy work is led by Bobby Spencer, CEO and Strategic IT Consultant, and draws on more than ten years of team experience across three continents.

Who it is for

Founders, CEOs and IT managers who are planning a new platform, replacing legacy systems, choosing between vendors, or deciding what to build in house and what to buy.

Discuss your IT strategy

Typical projects

  • An IT roadmap

Where you are today, where the business is going and the technology steps in between, written down and prioritised.

  • Vendor selection

A structured comparison of suppliers or platforms before you sign, with the risks set out plainly.

  • Build versus buy review

A clear recommendation on whether to build, buy or combine both for a specific need.

  • Architecture review

An independent look at a proposed or existing architecture, with recommendations your team can act on.

What is included

  • IT strategy aligned with business goals
  • Technology roadmaps and governance
  • Vendor evaluation and selection
  • Architecture and build versus buy reviews
  • Infrastructure and sourcing planning
  • Ongoing advisory sessions

How engagements work

A strategy engagement is either a focused piece of work that ends in a written roadmap or review, or regular advisory sessions with your leadership team. Advice is independent of our delivery work: if building with Twire is not the right answer, we will say so.

Privacy and data protection

Twire helps companies meet the GDPR and keep personal data under control. Our privacy consultants hold the IAPP CIPM and CIPP/E certifications and are led by Petra Spencer, Privacy Professional and Managing Partner at Twire.

Who it is for

Companies that process personal data and need an outside view: before an audit or a product launch, when a Data Protection Officer is required but a full time hire is not, or when work is outsourced and transfers must be documented.

Discuss GDPR support

Typical projects

  • GDPR audit

A review of how you collect, use, store and share personal data, ending in a written report and a prioritised roadmap.

  • DPO as a service

A named Twire consultant acts as your Data Protection Officer on an ongoing retainer.

  • Impact assessment for a new product

A data protection impact assessment before launch, done with the people who design and build it.

  • Privacy training

From general GDPR awareness for all staff to privacy by design for product and engineering teams.

What is included

  • GDPR audits and gap analysis
  • Compliance roadmaps with prioritised actions
  • Data mapping and records of processing
  • Data protection impact assessments
  • Transfer documentation, including SCCs
  • Privacy training for staff and management

How engagements work

Start with a fixed scope audit, appoint a DPO on a retainer, or book training on its own. When Twire also builds your software, our privacy consultants review data flows with the engineers before the first commit, so privacy is built in rather than fixed before an audit.

Engagement models compared

Every service runs on one of three models. You can combine them, for example a project to build a platform followed by a dedicated team to grow it, and change model as your needs change.

Questions about working with Twire

Where to start, AI, cost, timelines, ownership, support and privacy. If your question is not here, ask it on the scoping call.

We know we need to go digital. Where do we start?

With a short discovery. We look at how work is done today, which tools you use and where time is lost, and give you a written plan with the changes ranked by value and effort. You can act on the plan with Twire, with another supplier or on your own.

Should we build bespoke software or buy an off the shelf product?

Buy when a standard product covers what you need, and build when your process is what sets you apart or no product fits. Often the answer is both: a standard system connected to a small custom tool. We give you that recommendation before we quote a build, and we will tell you if building is not worth it.

Which systems can you automate or integrate?

Most systems with an API or a file export, such as ERP, CRM, e-commerce, accounting and HR tools. We build integrations, automate approval and invoice workflows, and use low code apps when they are the cheaper and simpler choice for your team to maintain.

Can you add AI to our existing systems safely?

Yes. We connect AI to the systems you already use through their APIs, with the same access rights a member of staff would have, a log of what the AI does, and human approval before actions that matter, such as sending an email or changing a record. We start with a proof of concept on one process, so you see how it behaves on your data before it goes live.

Is our data used to train AI models?

That depends on the AI provider and how the service is configured. We choose providers and settings that do not use your data to train their models, keep data in the EU where your requirements say so, and document it in the data processing agreement. Our IAPP certified privacy consultants can support the data protection impact assessment.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the scope, so you get a timeline with the written estimate rather than a guess on the first call. We plan the first release to be small, so something is in use early, and add to it in later releases.

What does a project or a team cost?

You get a written quote after the scoping call. A well defined project can be quoted at a fixed price; open ended work, dedicated teams and advisory retainers are billed monthly. You can start small, with one developer or one process, and we do not publish price lists because the right shape depends on what you need.

Who owns the code and the intellectual property?

You do. We work in your repositories where possible, and the contract assigns the code and IP to you. If we host the system, you keep access to the code, the data and the documentation.

Do you support the software after launch?

Yes. Most clients keep us on a support and maintenance agreement that covers fixes, security updates and small improvements, with current clients reaching us at support@twire.se. If you prefer to run it yourselves, we hand over the code and documentation to your team.

How do you handle GDPR in the software you build?

Privacy is built in. Every contract that involves personal data includes a data processing agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses, and our IAPP certified privacy consultants review data flows, retention and access control with the engineers while the system is designed. You can also use our privacy services on their own, from a GDPR audit to DPO as a service.

Tell us what you want to change.
We will tell you honestly if we are the right team.
